I had a new battery fitted recently and since then the electrics have stopped i.e. the radio/speedometer/clock everything else is OK like the rev counter and the fuel gauge. I took it to the local garage and they tried to fit a sensor but that didn't work so they refered me to a firm that specializes in electrics for the likes of boats etc. This sounds to me to be expensive can you tell me roughly how much it will cost please.

This is commonly just caused by blown fuses. That often occurs when connecting the battery from the surges of computer memory circuits charging up.
