im loosing heat it gets really cold but wasnt for sure if these vans have a heater control valve and if so where is i located

The heater control valve is normally attached to the heater hose-also check the air blend door-Have you checked the thermostat?

yes I have changed today thermostate water pump and flushed out heater core

You have a blend air door on this vehicle, not a heater control valve.

near heater core in the HVAC box.

no heater control valve.blend door only.is it full of coolant,is the thermostat stuck,air in system,heater core clogged.you need to do a lot more checks.
