2000 OLDSMOBILE INTRIGUE

I have a 2000 olds Intrigue. The tranny slipps after 1-2 min. of running. I replaced the filter and fluid. It ran great for 100 miles and then started to slip again. It is a good car, what can I do??

it sounds internal and the unit most likely will have to be removed and rebuilt. nothing you can do in the condition it is in.

finally got trany replaced... wow, what a job. so i take it for a test drive, everything going great ... then the dash panel starts going nuts, and my airbag light comes on . scared the @$%# out of me. thought i was going to have an explosion pulled off road and shut off... now it wont crank over.. what now?????
