Do a compression test on the cylinders. Did you have battery disconnected while working on it? Any applicable trouble codes? If it cranks ok, have a helper crank it, while you visually check for spark at the spark plugs. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check fuel pressure, also check for injector pulse.
