2000 Nissan Quest Interior lights/door light

a door sensor is triggering your light.... i can get into detail how these sensors work with ground, and power, but i dont think that will help you..... all i can suggest is that you open each door, and give it a good hard shut... if that doesnt shut the light off, one of your sensors is possibly bad, or has a broken wire..... at that point, you would need to bring to a garage, and have an adequate scanner hooked up so it can communicate with your vehicles body control module, and see which door your car "thinks" is open... from there, a technician would need to diagnose an electrical issue... sorry i dont have an easy answer for you.... please keep us updated on this.

they usually will start with 1hr diag time.... thats them scanning, and verifying your complaint... and initial diag.... however, if it turns into an electrical issue, which it may be, it can take longer.... a broken wire, bad ground, or shorted wire isnt an easy thing to find.... be prepared for this when you go to a shop.... i look forward to their findings....

Madmike here is an update on my problem. It was actually a very simple fix after all. It was the door ajar relay. The rubber that goes over it was torn and it let it slip to the side of the relay. Pulled it back over the relay and the lights don't blink anymore. Thank goodness I figured it out before going to a shop and paying 100-200 for them to just check it out.
