Nissan Bluiebird selphy. It developed a problem - it wont reverse
all forward gears are okay, goes forward smoothly. But in reverse it just revs and wont move. it hasnt missed a service and ATF was changed at all services. Any idea what the issue could be?
can we fix this problem or does it need a complete geare box change? Any ideas???

I would be fairly confident in saying that this will be an internal fault with the transmission, may be a valve body or servo problem, a live data read may show up a more exact issue, but this will be to much to do at home as there will be many special tools and you will need a very high level of expertise to rectify this problem,
