I have a "Blister fender" 3.0 gls petrol model. The heater/aircon cable has a kink in it so I am unable to set the heat. Is there an easy way to replace it (without having to remove the entire dash board)

You don't need to remove the dash for such a job. Note how the cable is routed and from there gauge what components needs to come off or access.
