A/C blower ran on high speed only and made hellacious noise. Replaced blower resistor and motor. Now vent air flow out is too light, though the blower sounds like it's blowing correctly. Got resistor from a scrap yard and a new blower from AutoZone (made in China!). Wondering why a/c flow isn't stronger.

Check the air blend door might not be opening fully to the cold position

Ok I will check into that. I also meant to ask: Is it possible the "used" resistor would cause the blower to run on a reduced speed...would a "new" resistor work better? And, is the Chinese-made blower less powerful than the factory-installed unit?

Power the blower from the battery if it comes on-replace the resistor and see what happens
