i just bought a 2000 mercury grand marquis , and it caught fire, i had to replace the wiring harrness , master cylnder , computer, wiper motor , and break calpbur , and break pads, and shifter cable.
i have everthing replaced and it is running, and driving but it wont shift automatically or manually . it is stuck in 1st gear, and i am wondering what could be causing this ? i know its not the transmission , because the transmission was good in the car , before it caught fire(upper drivers side)
any ideas of what it could be ?
