I replaced the mass air flow censor and the car continues to shut off when in idle. When driving and coming to a stop, the car shuts off . I looked at the airflow sensor and there are traces of motor oil in it.

If the engine dies at an idle, check for vacuum leaks and check the idle air control valve.
