2000 Mazda b4000 ABS Light

There can be anywhere from 1-4 wheel speed sesors all depends on what system you have.The first thing you need to do is have the abs computer scanned for codes.It might not even be a wheel speed sensor would be expensive guessing.You really need to have it scanned for codes.Let me know the exact code numbers.

Three wheel speed sensors. One at each front wheel and one in the rear differential housing. You can drive with the light on. The Anti-Lock Brake Computer detected a problem, set a diagnostic fault code, turned the system off, and turned the light on to tell you. The ABS system is added on to the base brake system. You still have that base brake system when the ABS option is disabled.

Sorry forgot to tell you it was safe to drive.My sisters 1999 died expedition just had her abs light came on with a code for the rear abs speed sensor in the rear differential. It turn out to be a bad sensor in the diff.If you have a multi meter you can test the sensors?

Your welcome you can check the sensors but also if you get the codes it will help narrow down to where the problem is.

yes that's what I meant was the codes. I will let you know what codes it throws me.
