How much will it cost to get fixed?

I am thinking of getting a Lincoln LS year 2000 and this guy says that he wants 2500 obo. He says that it needs a waterpump and spark plugs put in. He is providing them. How much will it cost to get fixed?

We don't get involved with labor costs here because there's way too many variables. Also, very few shops are going to install parts that you supply, just like you don't bring your own food to a restaurant. If a new part is defective, which does happen, the shop is going to do the work a second time at no charge to you, but not if you supply the parts. Then you get to pay for the entire repair again.

Ask for cost estimates from a few shops in your area. With the mileage you listed you'll also want to have the steering and suspension parts inspected. Fords have way more suspension trouble than almost any other car brand.
