Have a 2000 es300 and replaced the battery and now the cooling fans start and run all the time.... What could be happening at this point?

Hello,
It sounds like one of the cooling fan relays is stuck on here is the relay location with a guide to test them and the fan wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works.
Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know what happens.

Try the cooling fan sensor.

Tried the cooling fan relays and the cooling fan sensor and the fans still run all the time even after engine is fully warmed up... Will the next step be to go to the dealership and have them put it on a computer? Thanks David

It sounds like the ECM go hurt from a possible backward jump when the battery was low.

I had this same problem, it was the ECM shorted out, got sued one for $80.00 all fixed.

I parked up my car after returning from lunch and returned to a dead battery. Further investigation revealed that the engine cooling fans were not shutting off and continued to run.

Check the engine temperature gauge switch and also the fan relay

The fan is designed to run until the engine is cool. How long did the fan run? I'd also check battery condition as well.
