2000 Jeep Cherokee 144,000 miles 6cyl. While driving the vehicle the lights on the dash start to dim, radio resets, blower gets lower. As I accelerate the lights get brighter, gauges come back and the blower gets louder. Engine runs good. Checked battery terminals good. Battery, alternator were tested by two people and alt and battery are in good condition. I think there is a possible ground issue. ANy thoughts?

You need to test the charging voltage at idle and at cruise. You may also have to test the amperage output at max and at idle.

Only other test I completed was at idle I had 14.5 charging volts. Now I didnt check going down the road but had the car be placed in gear with foot on brake and volts dropped to 13. Now another thing appeared as well a check engine light came on. The code that was generated was P0715. Not sure if this is coincidince or not.
