how do i know if the clutch is going out in my 2000 jeep cherokee

It will start slipping in the higher gears and catching higher on the pedal.

If you are not sorta "in tune" with how this works

Most people notice that when you are in gear, and pulling a hill or just giving it some gas

The engine "Revs" up, but you see no change in the speed of the vehicle.

How often this happens sorta depends on how worn out, the clutch disc is

Kinda think if he knew "Car Language" or "Vehicle Lingo", he would have already known what "slipping" meant, then he would not have asked the clutch question.
