After replacing the battery the drivers seat quit working ? Any ideas ?

MEMORY RECALL
XJ8 & XJR (With Remote Transmitter)
If remote transmitter has been programmed pressing the unlock button will recall memorized driver preferences.
XJ8 & XJR (Without Remote Transmitter)
NOTE: Recalling memorized preferences can only be made if driver door is open or has been closed within 30 seconds, key is in ignition switch, and gear selector is in Park or Neutral position.
Press and release memory button. The drivers seat, steering column and outside rearview mirrors will move automatically to preferred positions.
XJ8 & XJR (With Remote Transmitter)
