Dome lights and door locks are wired to the Smart Entrance Control Unit and when a signal( such as a door is opened) is sent to the SECU, it would turn the dome lights on. Likewise the auto door lock would be avtivated when signals from the brake switch is received or alternately it can be a certain distance travelled, engine rpm above a certain speed, vehicle speed.
