My steering wheel all of a sudden got tight. i put powerstreeing in and after a few minutes it was tight again but not as tight

The logical assumption would be you have a power steering fluid leak. To leak to the point of having no power assist within a few hours of filling the reservoir would equate to a pretty good size puddle wherever you park. A leak that bad should be pretty easy to locate.
