shift into second vehicle neutralizes

Hello i have a 2000 Acura tl. i am having some transmission trouble when the car is about to shift into second the vehicle neutralizes then takes a while before the gear engages.

when i place it into drive it takes a while to engage then when it is about to shift into second it neutralizes then takes a while to engage.

Check the transmission fluid level and condition if okay-bring it in to a transmission specialist and have it further checked for slippage possibly a shift solenoid/valve body/pressure problem-hard to say where its coming from internally
