2000 Holden Rodeo diff swap over

hi I had a 2003 holden rodeo tf/ra with the 3.5l 6ve1 with a automatic transmission it's rear diff is 5 inches wider and was wondering if I can put it on my 2000 holden rodeo tf/r9 but this one has a manual transmission I know I have to move the leaf spring plates wider apart and re-weld them but will the diff pumpkin work better worst or cant be changed the gear ratiois
the 2003 rodeo auto is 4.56
the 2000 rodeomanual 4.1 I think not 100% sure
