My venture 2000, is stuck on reverse it was working perfectly , shift got loose amd I was stuck on reverse , now I can't turn the van on what do I do?

check for a broken shift cable. look under truck and see if the lever moves on trans it may not. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes
