2000 GMC Savana Rear lug bolts sheared

If there was a gap, either the wheel was not properly positioned or the lugs were not properly torqued.

the gap is between the hub simulator and drum. do the lug studs not need pressed into both? just trying to figure out why there is a gap between these components.
we had them replace the lud studs recently but the wheels did not fall off until a recent tire change.
shop that replaced lug studs is blaming shop that replaced tires and vice versa...

From what I see, the studs are not fully seated. Most likely, that allowed them to flex and break.

Thanks for the input. Do you know why they would not be fully seated? Would this be from the stud R/R or wheel R/I?
The wheel studs were replaced and a couple months later the tires, then the wheels fell off a couple weeks later. Trying to figure out what caused this.

Without being there, that is a tough call. I would think that the problem would have happened shortly after the studs were replaced. However, that isn't the case. The bottom line, from what I see, the studs were not full seated when they were installed. Please understand I am looking at a picture and not actually there.
