my 2000 gmc safari water pump went out my wife got it hot replaced it now it idles rough just did complete tune up 3 mounths ago no water in oil or oil in water does not blow steam out exhaust

If it was overheated, check to make sure none of the vacuum hoses are melted. Check to make sure when the work was done that none were left disconnected. Also, make sure none of the plug wires were melted and arcing.
