I put brake fluid in my powersteering reservoir. I only put maybe 4oz. to bring it up to full level.
I have to flush the line, pump and replace the filter.
I dont think it hurt the pump. My question is the return line to the reservoir on the bottom and that is where the filter is? I have to remove th splash plate on the bottom of the car, then disco the filter.
This line is a pressure line. Is it alot of pressure? and can you please give me any pointers.
The engine is the S Type 24 valve Duratech DOHC. I really cant afford to replace the lines.
I just had enough money to buy the filter, fluid, and conditioner.

you may have no choice. the brake fluid will expand the seals till they fail in the pump, lines and rack and pinion.
