Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P1309 indicates Misfire Detection Monitor is not enabled. 2000 ford ranger 4x4 eng 4.0 could repacing camshaft senser stop this and how do you reset the timing if it has moved my senser was lose and it moved on me.

Spark timing is normally set with the crankshaft position sensor. The camshaft position sensor synchronizes injector firing and isn't critical.
