Hi,
I have a 2000 ford mustang with about 229,000 miles on it. To begin with i can't turn properly, the steering wheel is too hard. Secondly, when i push the brakes gently, it starts a squeaking sound. It also starts squeaking now each time i turn the steering wheel. I have checked the brake and steering fluid levels and all are full. Please Help.

I would check the belt tensioner. The belt might be slipping and not turning the power steering pump. On disc brakes there is a tab that lets you know when the brakes are low. When the pads are worn most of the time the start letting you know by squeeking when are turning the discs move a little when you turn. Check the belt tensioner bearing and replace if neccessary.
