I have a 2000 GT. When I accelerate, the car wants to cut back and make a muffled noise. It mainly happens in 3rd, 4th, and 5th. The car idles fine, and doesn't cut back out of gear. I'm thinking throw out bearing? Any thoughts?

What do you mean by cut back, loose power? if so a bearing will not do this, more like a blocked fuel filter or ignition coil breaking down.

It doesn't really lose power, but it makes a vibration and a muffled sound repeatedly. It only does it when I jump on it though, not in idle or usual speed.

Check for restrictions in the exhaust system (catalytic converter).
