Truck shakes at 70 MPH

My 2000 F-150 4x4 was being driven at hwy speed-70 MPH, my wife reached down without looking to turn the heater fan on high, instead, she put truck into 4wd low at 70 mph, front end now drives funny, what did she shred in the front end ? thanks...shifted into 4 wheel drive low at 70 MPH.

she shifted it back to 2 wheel drive,and kept driving,i drove it around the other day and the passenger side front end acts funny,but is not making any strange noises

when she did this was change in engine/drivetrain noticed?

no,just a high pitch whining noise and a clunk,then it (the truck) kept rolling at 70 mph,i drove it the next day and it acts as if it is in 4wd even though dash switch is in 2wd

seems to,took it off road and it switched on,dash indicator came on,i went high speed in 4 hi and climbed a hill in 4 low no problem,it just does not "feel" right goin down the highway or in sharp paved turns,feels like 4wd is engaged on corners

dont sound like it actually went into 4lo on highway cause engine woulda sounded like it blew. guess you'll have ta drive it and see if anything develops or take it in and have things checked out.
