removing alternater on 2000 ford expedition

Disconnect the battery, remove the serp belt, remove the wiring from the rear of the alt, and then unbolt the alternator from the mounting brackets. Reverse the order to replace it. Also, make sure NOT to connect the battery until everything is back together correctly and tight.
