My 2000 Dodge Stratus has a 2.4L DOHC engine in it. Every time i drive it i don't get a mile up the road and with no notice at all it will just die on me and i have to put it in neutral, turn the ignition off for about 10-15 seconds and it starts right back up but don't get very far and it will do it again over and over unless i disconnect the negative battery cable and reset the PCM before each time i drive it?????? What is causing this and how can i fix it???????
Also, every time i fill the car up with fuel it begins to run extremely rough all the sudden and dies on me, when i try and start it up again it sounds like its back firing and don't want to stay running but only for about 5 miles or so then it acts right again but ONLY when i fill the tank up with fuel ????
What is causing this and how can i fix it???

start with bascis, compression, fuel pressure and spark, have the cat converter back pressure checked for being clogged
