What is the proper tool/bit for removing the front brake calipers on a 2000 Dodge Neon?

The correct sized ring or box spanner should do. Removing the guid pin bolt would allow the caliper to be removed. If you wish to disconnect it completeld, the brake hose has to be disconnected first.

Removing the lower guid pin bolt and flipping the caliper upwards would allow the caliper to be removed.
