what is the problem when there is a beeping sound, AC went out and smoke coming out of hood on minivan

You're going to have to look under the hood for the source of the smoke. You know we can't see it over a computer. Depending on which engine you have, I'd suspect a seized AC compressor first, based on the multiple symptoms, and a slipping drive belt. If that makes the alternator stop spinning, the chime would be telling you to check the gauges. The voltage, (battery / charging) gauge would be low.
