Pull the lower radiator hose instead. There were a lot of problems with the radiators from that supplier. When you loosen the plug something causes the plastic seat inside to crack. That results in a slow leak of a drip about once every five seconds. The only fix for that is to replace the radiator.

The radiator is the corrugated fin, downflow type, and is cooled by electric radiator fans. Service the cooling system with high quality ethylene glycol or other aluminum compatible antifreeze coolant. NOTE: If the radiator draincock on Cirrus, Stratus and Sebring convertible models equipped with the 2.5L engine cannot be located, remove the right lower fog light unit from the front vehicle bumper/fascia. Trying to draing the cooling system, but I can't find the drain plug for my Sebring, any hints on the location? Driver or passenger side of the radiator?

Hi again, Talis31. Don't bother with the drain plug. Pull the lower hose instead. Something breaks in the radiator tank when the plug is unscrewed, then the rubber o-ring on the plug won't seal and you'll have a drip about every ten seconds. We had a whole pile of cars sitting at the dealership waiting for new radiators after they had cooling system services done.

As I recall, the drain is behind the right headlight housing under about a two-inch square hole, and under the horn.

Good thing I didn't find it then.... Going to have to get it up on a lift, the way the botton hose is situated, I can't get to the clamp, it's one of those you have to get a pair of plyers on and there is no room when the car is on the ground, don't know if there will be room even on a lift.
