I have a 2000 Silverado 1500 with a 5.3 the trucks starts fine in the mornings after sitting all night but when it hasnt sat for over night when starting it turns over multiple times then starts an runs ruff for about 10-20 seconds but it sits over night or all day it starts just fine I bought a fuel pressure gauge an with the key on it shoots up to 58lbs but if you let it set for 5-10 mins it will bleed off too 0 when running its at 48lbs but the needle on the pressure gauge bounces between 46-48lbs I replaced the fuel pressure regulator about a month ago an no change also it has been doing this for over a year my guess is fuel pump or a leaking injector but I'm not sure is there a way I can tell if it's an injector or the pump thanks

a 5.3L should have55-62 psi.key on and should hold for 10 minutes you may have leaking fuel injectors or pressure regulator.
