My 4wd will not shift every time. I have replaced the drive motor on the front axle and there is power. The lights on the push buttons on the dash do not light up all the time. I have taken the switch out of the dash and moved the wires around and get the lights to work from time to time. I have cleaned the connectors on the switch and wiring harness.
Is there a way to test the switch or wiring to the next switch behind the dash or on the transfer case?
I also have had the service 4wd light come on along with the odometer/transmission position lights come and go at will along with the gas gauge. Any connection between this issues?
