Torque Converter??

2000 Chevy S10, auto transmission.....2.2L. Recently when I try to take off from a complete stop the truck will studder to go. It is also doing this while cruising at highway speeds. Also, when I go to stop the truck wants to erk forward a bit... Could this be the torque converter? The transmission fluid looks fine, I have replaced the plugs and TPS.
The problem seems to be worse when I am going up hill. None of the symptoms start occurring until I drive for about 5-6 miles.

Do you have a check engine light?

To rule the Cat out you need to do an exhaust backpressure test

The check engine light is not on. So, this could also be caused by a faulty catalytic converter?

Could be one of the following below:

Oxygen sensor.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Crankshaft position sensor
Knock sensor
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
False air leakage.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.

Note:If it doesn't apply disregard it

What would you recommend starting with? Can I troubleshoot any of these on my own? I'm not gonna lie, I am not trying to spend a whole lot on it.....
