It idles at 2000 rpms or more and when you turn on the air it goes up to 4000 rpms. It also has fast acceleration also

I'd be suspicious of a vacuum leak. When the engine is still cold and running, use a spray bottle to spray water over the intake manifold gaskets and vacuum hoses. Watch for places the water gets sucked in or that makes the engine slow down.
