HI,
i have replaced a cylinder head gasket and intake exhaust valves of my malibu 2000, 3.1, V6. tightened the head bolts with the correct spec of 37 FT/ lbs. after i installed the everything at the same place from where it came. tightened the rocker arms 14 ft/lbs. but after completing the whole process when i crank the engine it cranks but wont start back firing from the throttle and once it burn my sensor wire but i replaced... the correct firing order i have fuel pressure injectors power is ok spark is done but still engine just crank but wont start...

i had drained the oil one week before installing the new gasket.. i have done alot of cranking but still no result .... :'(... will you help me please ...

Cylinder head is torque to yield DO NOT reuse old bolts tighten to 60 ft.lbs then additional 95 Degress with torque meter rocker arms 14 ft.lbs then additional 30 degrees. Was head milled ie. shaved?

Mr. Doxfixit i have read the bolt specification of cyl head to engine block bolt tightened spec was 37 ft/lbs by the Chevrolet and additional 90 degrees. so i tightened them 37ft/lbs and 90 degrees.
its a new head which i purchased from the junk yard i had just resurfaced by the sand paper...

Cylinder head sequence and torque where changed by GM in a TSB check compression that will tell if valves are seating head same year ? very important where all push rods same length?

yes Mr. Docfixit i have purchased new valve of the same model from the GM dealers gasket everything i have purchased from the authorized dealer for the same model and cylinder head is the same the same model same engine ...

push rods are installed at the same location from where i collected....
