The PCM in on the RH side of the engine compartment, forward of the strut tower, inside air box. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

It should be near air box under the hood.

Thanks for that answer.My 2002 impala is a former police cruiser.I don't know if there would be any difference where the PCM would be located.I will check my air box and see.Thanks again!

Should be behind the left side of the dash, above the parking brake lever.
