I put new spark plugs and wires in my 2000 impala and it still runs rough. What could it be

Has less power than a few days ago and it doesn't heat up like it should. Is using a lot more gas too

It said misfire in #1 cylinder before I changed plugs and wires

Have you checked for codes since you replaced the wires etc?You say its not heating up like it should but maybe the gauge says its not heating up it actually is?Maybe you have a bad coolant temp sensor?

No I have'nt. I just picked it up at 930 tonite. Only drove it maybe a mile to get home. Itheats up just takes twice as long. To get good heat out of it. Oh its a 3.8 engine

Usually a bad thermostat can cause extra time for the engine to warm up.Check out the thermostat or better yet just replace it.

We need to start with the exact code numbers not code descriptions.We might still have a miss firing cylinder or two.
