allright guys this is my problem I traded my car for this bmw and it needs timing gliders I belive is what they are called I guess they are what tense up and guide the timing chain well the one on the left side of the motor broke so the function of it is no longer there so the chain came loose the car was on one minute in front of me not driving jus on then one minute it shut off soo I wanted too see if this is something I can doo myself I usually work on Hondas and any other car but a bmw ive never touched soo I wanted too see who can guide me in the process or if theres any good experienced bmw mechanics that really know what their doing around or in conneticut that want to do the job front end of the motor is already taken apart by the guy I traded another thing is like I said ima Honda guy so the electronics to these cars are like 2050 too me I wanted too see if someone can contact me about a few other questions I have about the whole electronics thing of these cars like gps stereo system alarm all of that

I don't have the specifics for your model vehicle. Regardless, this is an involved job. I strongly that you get a good repair manual that has step by step instructions and pictures to help identify parts. For me to try to explain this via the internet allows too much room for error.
