What can be causing my blower motor to not work?

I have a 2000 Bmw 328i (e46) and my blower motor isn't working. The head unit is working and I''ve replaced the FSU (blower motor resistor) and the blower motor itself. The fuses are good and there is power to the blower motor plug. I've also direct wired the blower motor and it works just fine. I'm absolutely stumped!! Help!

with the power plugged in to the motor and the car system on, back probe the blower motor plug and check for power and earth, you may have a problem in the plug it self or an earth problem, start here.

He was referring to a grounding problem. If the motor doesn't have a solid grounding wire it won't work properly.

I will find the correct wiring schematic and post you soon, the plug into the motor will have power and earth as mike said, if the earth is faulty this will also cause the motor to fail.

have a look at the pic, see if thats any assistance, i will see if i can contact a BMW tech for more detailed information, i am having trouble finding exactly what i want in Mitchell 1.

Let me know what you find out here, if no joy, it could be conductor, connector, component. Check the harness.

Thank you for the replies. I was able to see that the fuse panel had a bad female connector and replaced it and it's working fine now.
