the tank acts plugged or something?

2000 Audi A4 Automatic 110,000 miles. When I try to put gas into my gas tank, the tank acts plugged or something, it wont let me add gas. Is there some sort of valve that's not working? Thank you

More likely a problem with the venting of the filler neck. Might need to lift and support vehicle to visually inspect the fill hose and the vent.
