Egr failed and pushed out cam seals. that saturated the accessory drive belt , witch slid off and wrapped up in timing belt. Either the tensioner failed or the acc. drive belt caused the timing belt to come off.the timing marks were about 2 teeth off (both cams and crank)all the same direction).
I have ordered the cam seals , egr kit , new belt's ect...there dose not appear to be any damage to the pistons. (I used an inspection camera down the spark plug holes.) . i have it tore down and ready to put back together.
any advice would be appreciated. Did miss any checks.
The car was running great up until this.the I just had changed the timing belt and coil packs and plugs about a month before. Acc drive belt was about two months old.
Thanks in advance .
