engine will cranks but not start and starter is making some noise

I have an 99 volvo s80 it will not start when i turn it over. makes some weird noise but still want start. I got a new starter put on and still doing the same thing

BTW I recently got a flywheel put on the car.

I just had got out the car less than 10 mins ago. Got back in to go, it wouldnt say anything. everything else works just fine. so i got another starter put on and its still doing the same thing.

With over 200k miles have you ever had the timing belt replaced? If not the belt could have snapped? If it did then you most likely bent some valves already.

Can you get a recording of the noise that will help us identify the noise?

I attached the process on how to replace the timing belt so that we can find out if this is what happened.

it's getting fixed now. and yes i bent a couple of valves. :(
