I replaced the window regulator and motor on a 1999 Toyota Sienna recently and now the window works, but it moves in reverse. Both the passenger and driver's door switches move the window down when it should be up, and vice versa. I rechecked the connection and it's plugged in correctly (only one possible way). Any idea why this would occur?

Probably a mistake at the factory. All you have to do is pop the two terminals out of the motor's electrical connector and switch their positions. The hard part is figuring out how to get them out without wrecking them. There will be either a metal tab that is part of the terminal and has to be pushed, or there's a plastic finger that is part of the connector body that has to be lifted. There might be a locking wedge that has to be pried out first. Use your old connector to experiment on.
