fan will not turn off after engine is shut off,replaced relays,but did not solve the problem..1999 toyota camry

could this be a coolant switch? where would this be located and how can I test it? thanks for your prompt response earlier, my 17 year old daughter thinks shes going to die without her car.. haha

Turn key on and remove the wiring connector on the engine temperature switch at right front of engine compartment did it stop if so the switch is bad

strangest thing, all of a sudden it just stopped doing it, dont know why,had a computer try and diagnosis the problem with no results,had body work done few weeks ago,so tore car apart again to make sure no wires were being pinched,they werent. it still did it after that for awhile,drove it home wednesday, turned it off and the fan went off too,ever since its been working properly. someone said they had the same problem once and found out the car battery was not the right amp,well we did replace the battery in the car about 3 weeks ago,so dont know if that would matter or not..will try your wiring connector idea if it happens again. I still dont trust that it just"fixed itself" how strange huh?
