I have a 1999 Camry CE, the A/C seems to work in the morning when it is cold and does not work in the afternoon when it is above 85 degrees. It had been working on and off when it was hot but now it is not working at all when hot.

Freon full charge, all relays & electrical connections checked, clutch works

Not checked - A/C control module (I assume it is working since it works in the morning), heater air flow mixture control( I assume it is working since the A/C works in the morning. Dryer thermal switch (need to check).

Could the Compressor not compress due to the heated conditions?

Exactly how much total refrigerant is in the system now and what are the high and low pressure readings at idle and at 2,000RPMs?

The refrigerant is full but the delta pressure between high and low side is about the same when the ac is not working but there is a large delta between the low and high side when the A/C is working. I can not figure out what is causing this problem. Is there a check valve in the compressor that is stuck open when the a/c is not working? If that is the case the compressor is bad. Correct?

I need some specific numbers. "Full" is not the answer I'm looking for. You have no way of knowing that without knowing how much it is holding right now. I need to know just how much refrigerant is in the system at this moment and what the running pressures at during the RPMs. I noted. If you don't have accurate answers for these questions, then you are not ready to attempt any diagnosis.
