1999 Suzuki Esteem hard kick when the gas is pressed

i am having problems with my suzuki esteem. It has a hard kick when i press the gas pedal and go. when i drive slow it is hard to go it acts like it wants to die. It sounds to me like it is not getting enough gas. and it also jumps three times. i have checked all the fluids and i have had it tested at autozone and they said that nothing showed up on the computer
