The car has been on its way out since I bought it with one problem right after another. But recently after a good sized storm here in New England...about 2 feet and 40 mile an hour winds. It started spitting and sputtering on acceleration. Once it reaches about 2 and 3/4 to 3000 rpm it comes out of it. The exhaust is broken right behind the cat, but has been for a while. So I figured snow in the engine, there was a little but not much to speak of. Oil and other fluids are fine. Just trying to get by for a couple months until I can find something else. Is there anything else anyone can think of without spending a fortune

AS A START

TAKE THAT PUPPY TO A POPULAR AUTO PARTS STORE

HAVE THEM SCAN FOR CODES

THIS IS USUALLY A FREE SERVICE

RETURN HERE WITH THE CODE NUMBERS

NOT THE INTERPRETATION OF THE CODE NUMBERS!

BE NICE, LISTEN TO THE FELLER, HE MAY BE DEAD ON AS TO WHAT THE PROBLEM IS

HOWEVER, CODES OR COMBINATIONS CAN SOMETIMES BE INTERPRETED IN DIFFERENT WAYS......THUS, THE "WANT" OF THE NUMBER(S). STUPID EXAMPLE OF A CODE NUMBER "P0300"

(SHOULDA GOT A JEEP, THEY'LL LAST FOREVER! LOL!)

YOUR TURN
